Free Intro May 11 @ 6:00 p.m. MDT
To become fully creative is to operate in harmony with ourselves and in a state of creative flow, so we honor each and every modality as it is for what it is. This reduces our defensiveness and all the structures we created to protect ourselves are no longer necessary. We see that our personality is only a set of training wheels that we eventually discard when we become creative, then things finally make sense. For most of us we have been caught in the pressure cooker of believing our defenses taught us something. We kept thinking they were teaching us we are more different than we imagined. In fact, we were usually made to feel different from others while simultaneously and paradoxically compelled to say yes to the people who were unconsciously abusing us.
Next, we need to shift from a personality perspective where we seek to survive, succeed, and be self-important to a mode of creative purpose. This requires recognizing that our pre-established modality patterns are based on positions that attract counter positioned people to us. The result is always co-dependent excitement, intensity, and anxiety experiences. At the base of our defensive reality is how we have accepted imbalances in our experiential modalities and let them define our relationship options. Our internal aspiration to be beautiful, truthful, and good, becomes distorted into seeking pleasure, power, and passion, many times without making the investments to do things right. We need to shift out of this exploitation, competition, and comparison personality program, and discover our Authentic Creative Nature. This is explored in The Joy of Clearing Our Conditioning - The DNA of Sensations, Feelings, Emotions & Thoughts.
In the Higher Alignment class ‘Owning Our Creative Gifts’, we discovered our own Virtues and Values. We naturally identify with the names of our three Virtues, out of twenty-one possibilities. Most important is that our three Virtues or qualities guide our development process in searching for meaning by clarifying our Authentic Life Expression. The purpose of Virtues is to provide a clear direction for joyful expression that balances what we contribute with what we receive. While our Virtues are areas of great growth and expansion, this comes at a certain cost. The cost is that we become absorbed by what we create.
These Virtues are supported by six Values: three that are aligned from our primary expression and three that come from our secondary expression. The purpose of these Values is to anchor our creative thought processes in a way that allows us to be connected to our creations. When we centralize our personality, our Values and Virtues and Expectations (from our Mental Body) begin to work as one, all serving our highest self-declared purpose. This becomes the focal point of our progress which is measured by sequences of implementation of Intent, Content, and Context. We keep cycling our experience through our physical body to our mental body to our creative nature and back again.
Join us for an intriguing discussion of the integration of these two classes, two of our course offerings this summer.
