Naming Our Creative Patterns - Free Intro to Inner Seeing I
Free Intro May 13 @ 6:00 p.m. MDT
To become fully creative is to operate in harmony with ourselves and in a state of creative flow, so we honor each and every modality as it is for what it is. This reduces our defensiveness and all the structures we created to protect ourselves are no longer necessary. We see that our personality is only a set of training wheels that we eventually discard when we become creative, then things finally make sense. For most of us we have been caught in the pressure cooker of believing our defenses taught us something. We kept thinking they were teaching us we are more different than we imagined. In fact, we were usually made to feel different from others while simultaneously and paradoxically compelled to say yes to the people who were unconsciously abusing us.
Next, we need to shift from a personality perspective where we seek to survive, succeed, and be self-important to a mode of creative purpose. This requires recognizing that our pre-established modality patterns are based on positions that attract counter positioned people to us. The result is always co-dependent excitement, intensity, and anxiety experiences. At the base of our defensive reality is how we have accepted imbalances in our experiential modalities and let them define our relationship options. Our internal aspiration to be beautiful, truthful, and good, becomes distorted into seeking pleasure, power, and passion, many times without making the investments to do things.
