FREE INTRO: Attractions Teach Us Who We Are

Attractions Are A Framework Of Desires

By choosing attractions, we define our life lessons on instinctive, intellectual, idealized and intuitive levels. Twelve life attractions provide a structure for understanding what is important. Investments in energy, time and deeper engagement build up layers of attractions that define our learning focus. We use attractions to clarify what we desire. Repulsions reflect what we are unwilling to confront or engage. Attraction positions are defined by the polarity we experience internally with each life lesson. We can be in denial, acceptance or fulfillment in how we embrace our attractions. These states also tell us where we have limited our awareness, wisdom and aliveness. Until we are willing to change or uplift our attractions, growth is limited.

The attached table identifies the twelve positional attractions. They are organized by instinctive, intellectual, idealized and intuitive levels into three columns of feminine, masculine and combined attractions. Each can be affirmed by our desires (positive) or denied by our fears (creating repulsion). It is critical to understand that everyone has both feminine and masculine attractions as human beings. Feminine attractions empower internal ownership, self-respect, adoration and spacious, complete self-acceptance (including forgiveness). Masculine attractions externalize learning, self-esteem, admiration and cooperative team-building implementation skills.

Attractions assist us in becoming conscious about feminine mystery and masculine mastery so we can integrate both. We do this by waking up, growing up and showing up. It is the middle, combined attractions that distinguish the level of consciousness we possess in relationships. These attractions reconcile our motives and lessons with others, and whether we are competing, cooperating or able to embrace Radiant, Self-Unifying Love. Attractions become lessons and magnetic influences the more they are made conscious and complete.

There are nine additional attraction states that reflect how we express ourselves as creative beings. Positional attractions relate to specific lessons, while the following attraction states reflect the motivating generative force for our lives. There are three strong attractions (Autonomous Aliveness, Intimate Vulnerability and Alignment Awareness), three engagement attractions (Cellular Affinity, Vibratory Response and Vibratory Expansion), and three co-dependent, self-denial attractions (Excitement, Intensity and Anxiety). We move from denial, to engagement, to embodiment, as we consciously embrace the value of our attractions. At best, attractions become a magnetic energy that invites others into our life.

This means that 21 attractions impact and affect all of our relationships. Sometimes the affects are subtle; other times they are inescapable. Learn to recognize the power of each level and type of attraction. These attractions are the result of an internal denial of being counterbalanced by another, a belief that we need what a person offers, and the recognition that by completing these attractions within, it indicates who would be the most aligned to us. The more we explore our attractions, the easier it will be to use them in growth, applying them as we complete the lessons underneath. All of us want the ability to choose our lessons. Attractions provide the best way to direct or re-direct our lives. Join us for this intro discussion that discusses the larger dimensions of attractions and how we can create what we want in our hearts.
