Seeing Creative Expression

The purpose of the Inner Seeing for Children course is to develop the capacity to see creative differences in children. It is for social workers, teachers, therapists and interested parents who wish to play a positive role in the upbringing of children. While it is helpful to have a background in Inner Seeing I-III (for those who wish to be certified coaches), the focus of this course is primarily on the basic identification of children’s creative energies. We instruct in how to see, affirm and acknowledge children in order to help them contribute more directly. This course goes beyond the primary, secondary and mental body expressions that are taught in other Inner Seeing courses and includes two new factors particular to the development of children: the sentient (emotional) body and the bio-electric or physical body. By learning to recognize the 7 options on these two additional levels, we help to integrate and support children in their natural growth process and timing.

The 7 Creative Expressions or Intelligences are presented in ways that make it easier to see these qualities in everyday life. Our focus in this course is not so much in seeing and identifying differences but how to recognize a child’s response to different types of questions so they can be quickly identified. The benefit of this awareness is that you will be able to understand why children do what they do and will be able to support them in being more of who they are. In this way, you will learn how to respond to children in their natural method of engaging life rather than how they have been conditioned to respond. We further train participants to see creative expressions in terms of both positive and/or negative qualities. Being aware of these differences helps us serve and support children by providing insights about what is needed and when, in order for them to best respond to us. To complete this process, we cover the effect of parental imprinting, where children adopt the expressions of their parents and end up denying themselves.

After taking this course, you’ll never look at creative differences the same way again. You will have greater compassion for children who become defined by their imprinting. This course is the first in a series of two, and covers the five levels of creative expression. The second course covers Pacing, Communication Process and Decision-Making styles. These tools provide the basis for the Acknowledging Differences program (for teachers) and the Enlightened Parenting program.

Inner Seeing for Children is a 12-class series (13 classes with the Free Intro) offered on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. MDT beginning with the Free Intro class on August 27, 2019 with Larry Byram. $495.
