Creating Mutual Intentions (CNG 3)
Finding Value & Virtue In Others
Join our free Zoom discussion about how to create Mutual Intentions. Relationships can best be guided by our intention to cooperate and contribute. Knowing who we are as a Creative Being makes our path clearer. It is also true that the people we attract have some commonality or purpose in facilitating our growth. We suggest that there are no accidents in who shows up in our lives. Any challenging relationships reflect a deeper quality that we are seeking to resolve and express.
Therefore the question is, what and who brings us into focus in contributing? We never know this in advance. The lessons that we learn with everyone expand the range of our path and how many constituents we reach. A Common Neutral Ground is the best way to focus our intent to contribute. Intent is the energy and unfolding purpose that drives our lives when we are conscious.
To grow, we need to neutralize and/or heal individuals who abuse us or have denied our purpose and capacity. Until we accomplish this, the people who trigger us will likely succeed in distracting us, and these individuals are usually similar to our parents or other important caretakers. The problem is that many of us do not recognize the negative effects of our parents on us and how this compromises our existing relationship opportunities. We need to transform how we interact so the negative assumptions we are working with can be released.
Find out what irritates you so you can switch it off. Discover what qualities you respond to in others. It is also important to recognize that some people on our path are keys to further enhancements in our ability to show up and contribute. These individuals sometimes challenge us or provide a counterpoint that allows us to deepen our perceptions of our actions. Join us in exploring how we can relate to others with less effort, grief, and/or conflicts. We look forward to your presence.
